VEDETTE COUTURE PT.#1

It's funny how I'm slapping my own mouth everytime when I say "I'm back at blogging! I'll blog more often..." LOL and I always end up missing in action for months! :x Now I'm not gonna promise anything anymore, will just blog whenever I feel like it. Anyway, it was Stephanie (TheWhiteAlley's owner) who kept pestering me to revive my blog. I smell some motives with regards to marketing purpose! hahaha Anyway, it benefits gelliz too right? So, why not?! (:


Like as what I've mentioned under the "ABOUT ME" section on the right side bar, I truly hope that I'll be able to share my views on products that me and TWA is selling. Also, moving on to introducing our new collaboration label - VEDETTE COUTURE - with you girls out there!


Many of my customers thought that I own TWA, vice versa for TWA's owner. So here's a clarification! Stephanie is owning TheWhiteAlley, and I'm owning gelliz. As many of you might know, we're pretty well-known as sister's site. (It's okay if you just realised this now! hehe welcome to my blog! lol) So we discussed for quite some time about creating a co-label for ourselves. So Vedette Couture will be like a "best of both worlds" thingy in the future! However currently, we planned to keep the label solely for self-manufactured items. So if you're looking for non-manu items, they'll be launched like how we do usually.


Talking about SELF-MANUFACTURED ITEMS, I'm getting so whole lotta excited about this! If you've been a loyal customer of gelliz or TWA, you should have seen some sneaks of our self-manufactured LOVE IN PARIS CROCHET TOP through our twitter/ instagram/ facebook! :D yes yes yes yes yes! So pretty right?! I love them too and I'll be keeping all 4 colours (SNOW WHITE / MIDNIGHT BLACK / SUNSET ORANGE / BLUSH PINK) for myself! They're all so versatile and each colour is able to suit your mood daily. It's literally a MUST-KEEP, MUST-HAVE, MUST-BUY item! hahaha :x I mean I'm not trying to be bias here because it's my own blogshop... But I really think that the quality and design is really good. I've nothing to complain about this crochet top ): Maybe one bad thing about it is... it's so pretty till you're super tempted to keep all colours, but you'll be broke? :/


Our co-label, Vedette Couture, will be launched in early May. To be exact, it'll fall on the 2nd week of May. Please keep a look out for this launch because it'll be - SPLENDID. Forgive me for my limited vocabulary, I can't think of another word for this. Coming up alongside with the crochet tops, there'll be our self-manu floral blazers too! :D YEAH! I can't wait to launch them, like right now! But Stephanie is having her exams, so we'll have to postpone it. Everyone please wish her good luck okay! This crazy girl have been studying like some mad scholar! I seriously can't be like her man. I'll just end up burning all the books and go chill/play. D:


I think I should stop now before it gets too wordy! I'll definitely be back to update you girls about this awesome co-label and more sneaks! I seriously can't contain my excitement anymore, I feel like a monkey ):

PREVIEW OF GELLIZ COLLECTION 15 + HAMPER GIVEAWAY

i promise i'll blog right? (: so here it is! some sneak previews of gelliz's upcoming collection 15 and behind-the-scenes. if you have yet to know, i've been working with the owner of The White Alley, Stephanie (: i've been modelling for her blogshop since god-knows-when. omg i've forgotten! :O lol but it should be a year already! she's my primary school friend and she's the photographer for both her blogshop & mine. we always have alot of fun everytime we photoshoot! seriously lots of nonsense coming out from her & me. HAHAHA! well, i must say maintaining a blogshop isn't really an easy task. being able to work with her really lightens up my workload at gelliz. i don't need to look for a professional photographer and a professional photoshoot studio, my pictures for gelliz still comes out looking great! teehee! happygal_91 LOL

and fuck! look at the pathetic crampy studio above! you can totally imagine how limited the space is, i always have to shift left and right to get myself centralised in the picture. i can't do big actions & poses too! the backdrop is always driving us nuts! there was once we shoot halfway and the whole backdrop VRROOOOMM DROP down! hahaha FOL and we had to fix it back ourselves using masking tape. smlj HAHAHA! in case you're wondering why don't we find a better place right? it's because of the affordable studio rates and it's convenient location. TILL DEATH DO US PART WITH THE STUDIO! but then again, if you have good lobangs of any photoshoot studio, please let me know! i will love you forever! thanks in advance! ^^

here's a few pictures of stephanie while i'm adjusting the studio lightings.. i find her really cute in the pictures so i post them up okay! the rest of the pictures are way beyond cute till i can't post them, she'll peel my skin and chop me up. you know why. being random, i would just like to say that i really hate blogshops being stingy about providing more pictures of the product. maybe i'm too visual? i'm someone who need lots of photos to show me what exactly i am buying online, so when i receive them i will not regret! agree much? lol. so you can always expect alot of pictures for the products at gelliz! YAY! :D

below are some pictures when i was at sentosa with cheryl! stupid sun burnt my back & my back is still peeling like mad behind! i can't see my back to peel it nor can i apply the moisturiser properly, it is so freaking frustrating! meh. anyway, i am so going to try the indoor skydiving one day! REALLY! it looks super fun from the outside, but it's so expensive! FML it's like a dream that cannot be reached~ hahaha okay i'm exaggerating here. love sentosa so much! with all the sun, sea, sand! :D was so tempted to sign up to be an islander, but i won't have the enough time, money and accompany to go there. also, i don't wanna be sunburnt everyday too! hence i dropped the idea ):

that's the end of the sentosa entry! i know this blog entry is super long, that's because i've not been updating this space. i'll just keep trying to update as much as possible! here's the last one - @eleengoh's belated 20th mini birthday celebration! :D it's the first time @meeechz and i baked the rainbow cupcakes! @SkSharleen helped alot too! the icing wordings on top are carefully shaped & moulded by us, @cheryllyp & @liszeee! it was a mini and happy celebration! and omg the food at NYDC is gooooood too! love my girls so much! xoxo!
